'Independent' means that the adviser is not restricted to one provider, and can assess the whole of market.

Financial advice is a paid service and is different to financial guidance, where only general information is provided.

You can talk about your money goals and what's happening with your finances. Alex will explain where they can help and how much it might cost. You'll only pay if you decide to take financial advice by signing an agreement.

Before implementing any recommendations, we will confirm the charges for doing so.

This is a one-off charge which will depend on the complexity of your situation, the time needed to understand your goals, and to provide personal recommendations.

We will let you know if we think you'd benefit from ongoing adviser, which comes with an extra charge.

R08 Pensions Update This qualification focuses on pension reforms and how they affect advice, including the new legislative, compliance and reporting requirements.

This advanced qualification shows a comprehensive understanding of the financial planning process when giving advice to clients. AF6 Senior Management and Supervision This advanced qualification develops the ability to apply and evaluate supervision principles and practices in a retail financial services business. AF7 Advanced Diploma in Pension Transfers The advanced qualification develops the specialist knowledge and skills needed for advising on the transfer of safeguarded benefits. AF8 Retirement Income Planning This advanced qualification accredits advisers as specialists in the at-retirement and post-retirement markets.
